Welcome to Balcony Hockey!
This blog has 2 points:
1) It is a place for me to share my opinions and views about the world of NHL Hockey. I have been a fan of hockey since I was 6 years old. I have closely followed the NHL for the last 12-15 years. I read many articles and blog posts related to hockey, I will link to many of them and share my thoughts/opinions, as well as sharing my general thoughts about teams, players, and the league in general.
2) To chronicle my experiences as a Bruins Season Ticket Holder for the 2009-2010 season. I grew up, and currently reside in Boston and have been a Bruin's fan my whole life. After a few years of consideration I finally decided to take the plunge, and recently put down a deposit for season tickets for next year.
Why 'Balcony Hockey'?
My seats for next season will be somewhere in the balcony of TD Banknorth Graden, most likely between the blue lines. I won't know the exact location until the pick-your-seat event in the summer. Plus i like the idea of looking at hockey 'from overhead.'
